1. HOW TO ENTER: Visit www.taylorguitars.com to enter. Entry period runs from July 23, 2004 through September 30, 2004. For a list of prize winners or an entry form, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Taylor Guitars 30th Anniversary Sweepstakes, 1980 Gillespie Way, El Cajon, CA 92020-1096. Mailed entries and website entries must be received by Taylor by September 30, 2004 to be eligible. Limit one entry per person.

2. TELL-A-FRIEND ENTRY: Persons entering the contest ("ENTRANT") may refer others by submitting additional email addresses ("REFERRAL"). Taylor Guitars will send an email to each Referral, inviting him/her to enter. In the event that a Referral enters and wins a prize, Entrant will win the same prize.  Entrant's Referral(s) will not receive a prize if Entrant is selected as a winner. Referral must be a valid, active email address owned by someone other than Entrant and meeting Contest eligibility requirements. Entrant winning more than once via multiple Referrals will be awarded the first prize selected by Taylor Guitars.  If a winning Referral is referred by more than one person, only the first Entrant making the referral will win a prize. One entry per person. Multiple e-mail addresses belonging to the same person are not eligible. One prize per winner only.

3. RANDOM DRAWING: Winners will be selected once a week, each week for the duration of the contest. Grand prize will be drawn on October 1, 2004. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by phone or mail. No mechanically reproduced entries are permitted. Incomplete, illegible, mutilated, counterfeited, torn or altered entries will not qualify and will be void. Taylor Guitars is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, torn, mechanically reproduced, postage due or misdirected entries. All entries become the property of Taylor Guitars, and will not be returned. All entries must be received by Taylor no latter than September 30, 2004.

4. PRIZES: In the event that any prize is unclaimed or the winner fails to timely execute and return the Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release described below, alternative prize winners will be randomly selected from all eligible Contest entries received for the original drawing. Grand Prize winner will receive a Taylor 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Model XXX-RS. List of prizes: Grand Prize (up to two winners): XXX-RS, $4,998 suggested retail price; 1st Prize (up to two winners): Trip for two to San Diego, including airfare from within the U.S. or Canada and two nights accommodation via airline/hotel of Taylor's choosing, value depends on location of winner; Weekly Winners (10 per week for maximum of 10 weeks): Baby Taylor (up to 20 total winners), $348 suggested retail price; Taylor Guitars: 30 Years of a New American Classic (up to 20 total winners), suggested retail price $58; 30th Anniversary Bomber Jacket (up to 20 winners), $120 suggested retail price; 30th Anniversary Polo Shirt (up to 60 winners), $40 suggested retail price; 30th Anniversary T-Shirt (up to 80 winners), $40 suggested retail price.

5. GENERAL RULES: Open only to U.S. and Canadian residents, 18 years or older as of July 23, 2004. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and participation is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Taylor Guitars, Authorized Taylor Guitars Dealers, and all entities participating in or contributing prizes to this Contest, including its vendors, manufacturers, promotional partners, advertising and promotional agencies and the family members of each living in the same household are not eligible to participate.

All applicable taxes, license, destination and delivery charges for prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. All expenses associated with vacation prizes including, but not limited to, shore excursions, immigration fees, travel insurance, taxes, gratuities, and airport transport are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. Winners (and any travel companions, if applicable) are responsible for obtaining passports or appropriate proof of citizenship for travel, if required.

Prize winners (and any travel companions, if applicable) will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability and Publicity Release (these may be combined in a single document) and return them within five (5) days of receipt. Failure to return these documents within this time period will result in disqualification and alternate prize winners will be selected. The return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and alternate prize winners will be selected. Taylor Guitars reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for any prize, at its sole discretion. No substitution or transfer of any prize is permitted by any prize winner.

Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Taylor Guitars (and its promotional partners) to use the prize winner's name, voice, likeness, photograph, biographical and/or prize information (and that of any travel companions, if applicable) in any manner for any purpose, including, without limitation, for advertising and promotional purposes, on Taylor Guitars' website, and in press releases, without notice, compensation or obligation, unless prohibited by law. By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by Taylor Guitars' 30th Anniversary Sweepstakes Official Rules and Regulations and the decision(s) of the judge(s) at all drawings. The decision(s) of the judge(s) is/are final.

Neither Taylor Guitars, nor any of its promotional partners in the Contest will be responsible for any claims, demands, damages, losses or liabilities of any nature whatsoever including, but not limited to, any death, injury, accident, loss of enjoyment or other harm or loss, caused by, contributed to, arising out of or relating to the Contest and/or any prize, including, but not limited to, the winning, redemption or use of any prize.

Taylor Guitars reserves the right to make changes or additions to these rules and/or to extend the dates of this Contest at any time. All decisions by Taylor Guitars are final.

By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to comply with all the rules described herein.
