The 12-string is a part of Taylor’s heritage, changing players’ expectations about playability and intonation even back to the late ‘70s. We circle back to those days, but with a twist: We’ve applied the GA body shape to the 12-string design. It’s a perfect fit and feel for a guitar steeped in tradition, yet ready for a modern re-discovery. We also find inspiration from one of the all-time greats, in the form of the Leo Kottke Signature Model. Available wood combinations: Sapele/Sitka, Ovangkol/Sitka (gloss top), Maple/Sitka, Rosewood/Sitka (gloss top, back and sides). Mahogany/Sitka (LKSM).
