Bob Taylor's nylon-string design blends the tonal palette of a classical
guitar with the comfortable feel of a Taylor steel-string. A cutaway Grand
Concert in five distinctive wood pairings - sapele/Sitka spruce,
ovangkol/Sitka spruce, mahogany/cedar, maple/Engelmann spruce, and East
Indian rosewood/cedar - yields subtle variations on a fresh Taylor voice.
The Nylon Series features a 1 and 7/8-inch, 12-fret neck crowned by a
slotted peghead; a rosette of laser-etched Mexican cypress; a contoured
fretboard end; a classical-style bridge; Ping Classical Gold tuners with
synthetic ivory buttons; an inverted truss rod; and Fishman electronics.
