GS4e-LTD
The Grand Symphony introduced a bold new voice and tone to the Taylor lineup. Now, available in this limited run with a Tasmanian blackwood back and sides, Sitka spruce soundboard, and satin finish, the GS appears as never before. Originating from the same Acacia family tree, Tasmanian blackwood is comparable to Hawaiian koa, possessing similar tonal characteristics, yet with individuality and subtle flavors all its own.

Tasmanian Blackwood
Tasmanian blackwood is known for its rich, golden-brown color and warm, mellow tone. This member of the Acacia family is prized for its striking appearance, much like its relative, Hawaiian koa.
Grand Symphony (GS)
Though you might see similarities to a Grand Auditorium, the GS is unique in both sound and shape. Significant changes in its geometry yield a deeper, more piano-like bass. A wider lower bout and higher, wider waist return ample volume and low-end sustain, in symphony with fuller mids and balanced highs.
Expression System®
Using proprietary pickup technology developed at Taylor, the Expression System® amplifies your guitar with an unrivaled, natural live sound. Onboard tone controls provide added flavor, or set flat for an uncolored, exceptionally-clean amplified sound. It’s your tone. Amplified.
Gloss Top/Satin Back & Sides
The finish used to create this guitar's textured satin back and sides and lustrous gloss top was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultraviolet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.
