To be as inclusive as possible, we've divided this feature into three general classifications: internationally famous performers; accompanists and/or behind-the-scenes craftsmen best-known among musicians and others in the music industry; and independent artists building careers on a foundation of do-it-yourself recording and frequent performance. Some even qualify for more than one of these categories. Each page will be updated and augmented on a regular basis.
