Inspired by both the T5 and the SolidBody, we take the classic semi-hollowbody sound and apply signature Taylor design touches, blending our high-fidelity full-size, mini or Vintage Alnico humbuckers with a unique coil-splitting application to give players killer humbucker and single coil sounds in one guitar. Opt for a stop tailpiece or a Bigsby paired with a metal roller bridge, for a high-performance vibrato bar without the usual pitch issues.
Taylor T5 Hollowbody »
The versatile hollowbody T5 blurs the line between an acoustic and electric guitar, delivering a sweeping range of electric and amplified acoustic tones. Equipped with an acoustic body sensor and two humbuckers, it’s fully compatible with acoustic amps, a PA system, and electric amps. A five-way switch dials in different pickup configurations, and with an A/B/Both box, players can shift between electric and acoustic tones or blend them. Choose from Classic, Standard and Custom models, including 12-strings.
