The shell of the Taylor Hardshell case is constructed from multi-ply wood, yielding more strength and better humidity/temperature protection than plastic. It's covered by an ultra-tough vinyl called Nubtex, which protects against scratches and dents, and has chrome hardware for secure latching. The interior is precision-built for each of our four guitar shapes, ensuring a snug fit. Thick padding and plush provide excellent shock absorption, while a form-fitting vinyl handle makes the case more manageable and easier to carry. Built at Taylor's case factory in Tecate, Mexico, the Deluxe Hardshell offers the ultimate in protection. Sheets of poplar veneer form the tough shell, while extra-thick plush padding keeps your guitar secure. A durable vinyl exterior resists surface damage and gold latches assure a tight seal.
