The Taylor Nylon Series was designed to bridge the classic/steel-string divide, offering a classical sound in a playing experience that's more familiar to steel-string players. Each model in the Nylon Series is equipped with industry-leading D'Addario® Pro-Arté® Extra Hard Tension nylon strings.

Technology is integral in the development of Pro-Arte strings. Treble strings are sorted by a sophisticated computer-controlled laser machine which performs diameter/tension measurements and quality checks, insuring true-sounding, precise trebles in every set. Pro-Arte bass strings are wound using silver-plated copper on a multi-filament nylon core.

The result is a bright, "shiny" tone yielding strong bass, clear treble, and minimal squeaking.
