BABY'S BEDTIME
I just finished reading an owner "testimonial" on your website. It gave me pause, and I decided to write my owner letter. In August of 1999, I found out that I needed to have neck surgery and that I would be traveling a lot to see many doctors before the actual surgery. After all the traveling, I would have to spend a week in the hospital and another week in a bed without my guitar.
I realized that I needed a travel guitar, and I found your Baby Taylor to be the perfect guitar for my situation. I then convinced my
family to buy me one for all the traveling and time in the hospital. I was
so excited when I got the Baby-M (I like the bigger bass and more projection with the solid-mahogany top).
I was able to play my Baby while bedridden, and it helped me make a speedy recovery. I still get compliments on the instrument wherever I go. I thank you so much for making such great guitars, and I hope to be buying another Taylor soon.

HAND ME MY AXE, DAD!
The day our son was born, my husband Michael went and bought him his first guitar - a "Baby-M" for our baby Michael -
how appropriate! I thought you'd enjoy the pictures! We sure are enjoying our guitars.

SORRY, CHIEF
Just wanted to say thanks for making great guitars.
I own a '97 710 and recently purchased a Taylor
Baby-M to take
with me on my trip to Fiji. The size of the Baby Taylor is great for travel. I had an awesome time playing with the
locals, and they, too, enjoyed playing the Baby Taylor. A soon-to-be chief wanted to buy it from me. I couldn't let
it go, though; I still had another island to visit.

TAYLOR TAG TEAM
Recently, my girlfriend and I were fortunate enough to attend a benefit concert called "Old Friends" at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. The
concert featured Guy Clark, Vince Gill, Nanci Griffth, Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell in an acoustic guitar "tag team" event, as Clark
described it. Taylor was well-represented, with Vince Gill playing a 912-C and Nanci playing her blue custom
614-CE, as I recall. The show was unforgettable and the Taylors sounded great. I have a
K-22-C, an 810, a 312-CE and a
Baby-M, so I always keep an eye out for Taylor guitars.
Your new web site is great and I continue enjoy Wood&Steel. Keep up the good work.

BRINGING UP BABY-M
I purchased your Baby-M only hours prior to my departure for a couple months of travel. Upon returning, I decided that I should have been working for you folks.
You see, I played with perhaps 200 different guitar players while out and about, and I can honestly say that 75 percent of them would have bought a Baby on the spot. Their impression of the
Baby Taylor was much the same as mine - incredible! And, incidentally, the other 25 percent also would have purchased a Baby if they'd had they cash. What I'm saying, ultimately, is
that it is truly my pleasure to own and play your guitars. Aloha.

KEEPING IT IN THE FAMILY
In January [1999], I purchased a 310 from the Fret Shop in Huntsville, Alabama. I've fallen so much in love with it that I went out and bought
my nine-year-old son a Baby-M so that we could play together. I found interesting the "civilians" you list on the website
[see "Artists Who Play/Recording Artists" link on the Taylor News page] who play Taylors, especially President
Clinton. I hope he plays the guitar better than he does the saxophone. All kidding aside, I do enjoy my new guitar. My 30-year-old [other brand] has become a museum piece in
our home.
