PLEASE READ ENTIRE MESSAGE:

As you may be aware, our company has requirements to follow in order to keep our business operating safely and in accordance with local regulations. One of those is a requirement that the employer makes available COVID testing during working hours for anyone who is part of a “workgroup” that has had three or more COVID-19 positive cases within a 14-day period. For Taylor Guitars’ purposes, a workgroup has been defined as a department (in some cases, area of department)/floor/shift.

If you are receiving this communication, it is because you have been identified as someone who is part of a workgroup that meets the requirements outlined above.

This means you have the ability to be tested for COVID-19 onsite. In order to make this process as simple as possible, we have scheduled an onsite COVID testing clinic tomorrow, Tuesday, February 1st, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, and 3:30 PM – 4:15PM, outside the Visitors Center at the 1980 building. This will be a saliva-based PCR test and we expect this process to take no more than 5 minutes per person. You will be able to return to work immediately after your test.

Please note: You should not elect to test if you have tested positive for COVID in the last 90 days.

If you decide you would like to test, please prepare by creating an online account in advance at https://calbiotechlabs.com. You will be asked to enter your insurance information on the website, if you don’t have insurance, please select the “no insurance” option.

You will be asked to complete a consent form at the test site in order for your results to be provided to Human Resources.

If you are unable to create an account in advance, you will need to complete the setup at the testing location and provide your insurance card.

Again, you will be able to continue working while we wait for your results to come back as long as you are not experiencing symptoms. We expect results to come in within 24-48 hours.

The requirement of the company is that we continue to make testing available to the exposed workgroup weekly until we do not have three cases in a 14-day period in that workgroup.

As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Human Resources team with any questions about this process. Thank you for your cooperation.
