918e (2013)

Price: Discontinued / Series: 900
918e (2013)

Among our three classes of solid Indian rosewood guitars, the fine detailing of the 900 Series sets it apart with exceptional design sophistication. Appointments include Taylor’s elegant “Cindy” inlay in the fretboard, headstock and bridge, rosewood binding, red purfling accents, and abalone top trim that also borders the fretboard extension. Tonally, Indian rosewood’s high-fidelity voice covers a wide musical range, from a deep, throaty growl to clear, sparkling trebles. The 918e incorporates Taylor’s big-bodied Grand Orchestra shape, and the resulting tonal power and overtones together produce a level of complexity that serves up a dynamic feast for the ears. Our proprietary Expression System® 2 electronics capture that tonal detail for a rich and expressive amplified sound.
