Will this fit a ‘91 910 very snugly? The original case does not fit very tight on the sides. I’m using the fit of a Builders Edition 814CE as a reference (which perfectly encases the guitar).
The dreadnought body shape has changed slightly throughout the years. This case may be a little too tight. We recommend taking your 91 910 to a retailer that has a newer DN case for sale and test fit it.
Would this fit an Acadamy 10e?
We do not currently produce a hard case for the Academy Dreadnought. The TKL Grand Concert series has a high likelyhood of fitting, but we have not tested the case yet.

will it fit other brands of standard dreadnaught-shaped guitars?
Even though the Dreadnought shape looks similar from manufacturer to manufacturer, the overall dimensions do differ. Our cases are designed to fit Taylor Guitars perfectly, there isn't much wiggle room.

How heavy is the case alone? I have a Taylor 510.

Yes. It will fit your 97 710. Dreadnought models 96 and older will be pretty tight.

No. You would need the Grand Auditorium case.

No. We don't offer a hard case for the TSBT. SKB makes one though. SKB 1SKB-300 Baby Taylor
I have AD17e. May my guitar will be fitted with this case? I know there is case for Grand Pacific but I don't like it because it's too gorgeous.
The original Dreadnought case will not fit the Grand Pacific. You would need either the Aero Case or our Grand Pacific deluxe hardshell case.
I have a left handed 1999 310ce. The old plastic case finally gave up the ghost after 2 decades + of service. Do you all make/sell those cases anymore? I’m concerned the leather on this case would tear when vigtransporting to gigs,. Would this case be a snug fit for the 310ce)
The molded plastic SKB cases are no longer available from Taylor. Currently we offer the Taylor deluxe hard shell case and the Aero case which are both featured on our site.

Great Guitar Case!
I bought this case in 2015 and it has lasted and I've had no problems with it. The padding on the inside of the case fits my guitar perfectly and hasn't worn or torn. A great guitar case!
