Sorry, no. We don't sell individual tuner parts, just sets.
Will these fit on a 612?
Yes, as long as it is a 12-fret model with a slotted peghead.
I broke a tuner on my 812 how and where can I get a replacement?
The tuners you selected are our current 12-fret tuners. If your guitar has the older style, those are no longer stocked—but these new ones fit and function perfectly as replacements.
I just broke a tuner of my 12-fret Mahogani-Taylor (that was before numbers...) for the 2nd time - got a free replacement two years ago :-) , serial no. 1111221147. same question: will it fit to replace all six "single" tuners?
Yes, the new style of Taylor slot-head tuners will fit your original 12-Fret model. The design includes a side plate that effectively covers the existing, original screw holes, preserving the guitar's aesthetic. However, to secure the tuners, a new mounting screw holes would need to be drilled.

As long as it is a 522e 12 fret, yes.
Will the four mounting holes line up with the six holes on the single plate tuners or will I have to drill new holes?
The plate will cover the original screw holes but you will need to drill for the new screw locations.
I have a 712ce12 fret.. It has the old tuners where each tuner has its own plate with 2 screws. Do you recommend replacing those with these tuners? I have a newer 512ce 12fret that has these tuners. They are very Nice.
If your original tuners aren't working properly, these would be our recommended replacements.

Are these the same tuners that come standard on the Taylor 312e 12 fret guitar? Are there better, more ornate tuners for the 312e 12 fret?
Those are the Tuners that would come on any Taylor 12 fret 6 string model. They are the only slot head machines we offer.
What is the diameter of the shafts and what's the distance between the shafts?
Diameter 1/4". Distance between shafts (center to center) 1-3/8"
I want to improve a nice little parlor-style guitar with custom mechanics for nylon strings. Can you send me the diameter of the axles/shafts in Millimeter. It looks smaller than those of normal classic guitar tuners?
These are slot-head steel string tuners. Our nylon tuner post's diameter is 9.75 mm. The length is 31 mm. If you are in the US or Canada, the Nylon tuners can be ordered by phone at 1-800-943-6782
It is possible to replace this tuner set with a Waverly 3-0n-a-plate tuner set? I have a an 812ce 12-Fret DLX
The set designed for slotted pegheads should work according to the schematic provided at <a href="http://stewmac.com" target="_blank">stewmac.com</a> However, the original mounting screw holes won't line up. New holes would need to be drilled. We could not say if the original holes will be completely covered by the plate of the Waverly's.

Taylor 80486 Tuners
I purchased a set of these tuners to put on my slot head guitar. I searched the internet for info/specs before buying and the only thing I found was the length of the string posts. I was very pleasantly surprised when I received the set and found that the string post spacing is 35mm which fit my guitar perfectly. The string posts are 6.3mm diameter or.250" and are 29.37mm in length. The quality of these tuners is excellent and there was an etched logo on the inside of the plates which indicates that these tuners are made in Korea by the same company which produces the Golden Age tuners for StewMac. The buttons are indeed genuine ebony.

Replacement slot head tuners
The new tuners look great and are rock steady with holding tune. I've had several positive comments about them. I was a little apprehensive about having to replace all six tuners when I only needed two, but I am very satisfied with the replacements.
The knobs don't stay tight - had to fix them myself
The ebony buttons to not stay tight on the shaft. I tightened the buttons several times but they would continue to loosen and I worried they would crack. I finally solved the issue by removing the button and dropping in a small dab of super glue in the button as well as a drop of Loctite on the screw before reassembling. Now they work and look great, but I had to personally fix a design flaw. Not Taylor's usual perfection.

WOW! I have ordered several items from this Taylor website and have always had great service, but this time has been the best!
I ordered this part for my 2016 Taylor 322ce 12-Fret when one of the original white plastic tuning knobs broke while I was replacing the strings. I've been replacing my own guitar strings since the 1960's and never broke anything, so I was truly upset to say the least.
On-line research led me to believe that, in about 2016, Taylor had problems with breakage of the white plastic knobs, so they immediately replaced them with these excellent black ebony knobs on the following models of steel-string, 12-Fret guitars.
Anyway, my order was placed on Thursday afternoon last week, and the part arrived less than 48 hours later, Saturday morning! As always, speedy service!
I learned enough from this Taylor website's reviews of this part to be confident of doing the installation myself.
It required about an hour for this slow, old guy to remove the newly installed strings, replace the six (6) original tuning devices with these two parts (bass and treble sides each have three tuners) , and re-install the strings (which were new when I broke the white knob). Everything worked fine and the guitar plays and sounds great!
The two new parts did, as advertised, cover the twelve (12) screw holes from the original tuners, and rather than drill new holes, I simply used a scribe to bore the eight (8) new holes. Easy!
This appears to be the exact same tuning hardware that is on my 2023 812ce 12-Fret guitar.
I am well pleased and will continue to recommend this web-site and their products to my friends.

Ebony 12fret Tuners
Low quality, I have to retighten the low E button screw very often. The button is loose over the sleeve that is inside the button. The low E button is very stiff when I tune the string compared to the five other tuners. Normally the string should be tuneable without the screw installed.
Needs high improvement. My guitar 2022 322ce 12-fret, less than a year old.
