King Nun
For a band that started as school friends in 2013, King Nun have been on a long road to their second album, Lamb. Consisting of Theo Polyzoides (vocals and guitar), James Upton (guitar), Nathan Gane (bass) and Caius SY (drums), what would later become an official band started as friends bonding over their shared love of artists off the beaten path, from Richard Hell and Television to Sonic Youth and Pixies. On this foundation, they built an off-kilter indie-punk hybrid sound first exhibited on 2019's Mass, hailed by NME as “brutal and brilliant” and DIY as “a sound to be reckoned with.” King Nun have also built a reputation as an impressive live act, touring as headliners across Europe and the U.S. and prompting Rolling Stone to name them “Best Rock Newcomers” at Bonnaroo. King Nun have also supported artists such as Foo Fighters, Black Flag and Gang of Youths on the road.
