Silvina Moreno
Argentinian singer songwriter Silvina Moreno, one of the most complete female artists Argentina has given in recent times, is releasing her fifth studio album in 2021, with a full female production staff and female artists as featured guests. Since she was a little girl, she was always very determined about her passion for music, and therefore moved to the US at age 20 to study at Berklee College of Music. Silvina graduated with a Summa Cum Laude recognition, and a Degree in Songwriting and Music Business.She recorded her first album “Mañana” in New York and moved back to Argentina to pursue her career in Latin America. This first album was nominated to a Gardel Award, which is the highest recognition for music in Argentina. She recorded her second album, “Real” in 2015, which called Sony Music’s attention and signed a record deal with them.In 2017, Silvina released her third album, “Sofá”, produced by multi-Grammy Award winner Eduardo Cabra (Visitante -Calle 13) and edited by Sony.Silvina released her fourth album “Herminia” in 2019, produced by Colombian producer Juan Pablo Vega and recorded in Mexico City.
Silvina has performed in most Latin American countries, the US, UK, Holland and Germany. She recently shared the stage with Ed Sheeran, who sold out 50,000 tickets in Argentina. She has also shared performances with Bobby McFerrin, Harry Styles, Alicia Keys, Gilberto Gil, Carlos Rivera, Monsieur Perine, Natalia Lafourcade, Miranda!, Matisse, Paty Cantú, Kevin Johansen and Axel.
It is rare to find such a combined set of skills in one single artist. Silvina is an excellent multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger. She has a very powerful vocal projection, tone, range and with a very solid stage performance, filled with humor and charisma. Her music intertwines both alternative and pop sounds, as she connects with both genres and feels identified with both worlds. Her sound is a reflection of her personality, and invites us in a journey through the psyche and emotions of a young female artist, who is honest, fresh and spontaneous.
