Taylor Satin Guitar Cleaner is a premium guitar cleaner for all satin-finish instruments. Its unique formula cleans finger oils, dirt and other marks from your guitar, bringing your instrument back to its original clean satin look. The Taylor Guitar Cleaner leaves no oils, silicone or waxy residue. It is recommended to use the Taylor Suede Microfiber Cloth on a satin finish guitar. Made in the USA. Model #1311-04

Can I use this cleaner on the top of my blacktop AD17e or should I use something else for that?
This product will work great.
can I use satin cleaner on taylor baby mahogany fretboard and body?
No. You would want to use the fretboard conditioner.
Can I use satin cleaner on my vanish or matte guitars?
Yes.
How often should I clean the guitar?
For regular maintenance, a good rule of thumb is:
Light cleaning: Wipe down the body, neck, and strings with a soft, dry microfiber cloth after every playing session. This removes sweat, oils, and dust.
Deeper cleaning: About once a month (or more often if you play heavily), use the satin cleaner on the body/back of neck and a fretboard conditioner on the unfinished wood of the fretboard and bridge.
Strings: Change strings based on how often you play—usually every 1–3 months for average use, more often if you sweat a lot or play daily.
The key is consistency. Frequent light cleaning prevents buildup that can dull the finish or affect playability, while deeper cleaning keeps the wood nourished and the guitar looking and feeling like new.

This product will clean your 150ce well. It is not intended to remove scratches.

You can use the satin cleaner for the BE 324ce and the polish for the BE 814ce.

If you find yourself needing to clean your guitar more thoroughly than with just a microfiber cloth, yes — this cleaner is safe to use daily.

Is this good for the neck of my 214ce plus?
Yes. This product is great for any of our satin or matte finishes.
Can I use satin cleaner on a natural finish?
Natural means the finish is clear, there is no color or stain. Natural could be gloss, satin, or matte. If you have a satin or matte finish, the satin cleaner will work great. If you have a gloss finish, you would want to use our Taylor Guitars polish.
Is this the best polish for 814ce?
No. This is our satin cleaner designed specifically for our satin/matte finishes. Can I use this on my fretboard?
No. You would want to use fretboard conditioner.
can this cleaner be used on the big baby e which is not all wood, and what cloth to use with the cleaner?
The BBTe is all real wood. The finish is a water based acrylic. The satin cleaner works really well on it. A microfiber cloth tends to work best for the application and cleaning.
Is this suitable for the Builder's Edition 614ce WHB?
Yes.
Can I use this on my AD17e blacktop?
Yes.
Can this be used on a GS mini e Koa plus?
Yes.
Is this recommended to clean my 814ce neck?
This is a great cleaner for the neck and any other satin finished areas.
Is this also recommeded for the Silent Satin finish or is there a better option?
The satin cleaner was designed specifically for our satin finishes.
can i use it on a 612ce?
You should use the Taylor Polish for the gloss body. This satin cleaner would work well on the back of the neck and headstock.
What type of finish is on a Taylor 524CE?
UV cured Gloss on the body, Satin Polly on the neck. For gloss finish, you would need the polish. The satin cleaner would work for the satin neck.
Is this safe for the Big Baby 306-GB matte finish?
Yes.
Can this be used on the 114 CE model?
Yes. It works great on any of our satin or matte finish models.
Can I use the satin finish guitar cleaner on my gloss finish 214ce Plus?
You can, yes. However, our Taylor Guitar Polish is generally used for the gloss finish models.

Yes
Can this be used for the 414ce LTD?
This cleaner is intended for a satin or matte finish. Polish is preferred for a gloss finish.
Is this the correct cleaner for BBTe Walnut finish?
Yes.
Is this the right finish for the 816CE builder's edition?
This product is intended for satin and Matte finishes. For the gloss finish body of the BE 816ce, we recommend Taylor Guitars polish.
can this be used on a 224 ce koa?
This is for any of our Matte or satin finishes. For glossy areas, we recommend our Taylor Guitar Polish.
Can this be used to maintain a guitar with a Tru-Oil finish?
This product has not been tested on Tru-Oil finish. If you are going to use this, apply a small amount to an inconspicuous area first to see if it affects the finish in any way.
Can it be used on 214 ce?
Yes, on any of our satin or matte finishes.
Do you recommend this for the 214ce-N?
Yes. This works well for all of our satin or matte finishes.
