The GS Mini is only available with a 1-11/16" nut width.

This model comes standard with our ES2 system which does not have a built in tuner.
Is there any chance Taylor will begin selling the Firestripe tortoise pick guards, featured on the new 50th anniversary GS Mini guitars, on the accessories site? It would be a fantastic addition to a great catalog of upgrades (like truss rod covers etc)

What is the nut width on gs mini?
1 11/16"
Is the sunburst on top printed like the GS mini Year-of-the-Dragon or painted like those traditionally made?
Yes. The sunburst is printed.
What kind of oil should I use to polish this guitar? As far as the body and neck go? I'm having a hard time finding a straight answer!

This is a matte finish, so there is no need to use polish. You just need to keep it clean. Either of these options will do that well.
gig bag is included?
Yes. This guitar ships from the factory in the GS mini structured gig bag.
Are the back and side woods solid?
The back and sides are layered Rosewood.
What type of battery does it use ?
9 Volt.
I’ve seen this guitar described as having a smoked eucalyptus fretboard. The Taylor website says ebony. Which is it?
This guitar is made with an Ebony fretboard.
Is this 50th anniversary GS mini made in USA or Mexico?
All GS Mini's are manufactured in our Tecate Mexico factory.

Best guitar
Bought this guitar in August 2024 and it has been by primary guitar ever since. It is very durable and due to its smaller size, I've been able to take it traveling with me!! The sound quality is amazing.

Needs Fret Job Already
Beautiful guitar, sounds amazing, but the frets are already badly worn after only a year. Need to take it in and get a complete fret level and crown.

Amazing guitar (BUY IT)
I bought this guitar back in may, and man has it exceeded expectations. The GS mini in general is a perfect sized guitar, and the sound that comes out of this seemingly tiny thing is extraordinary. It projects very well, and is balanced well with a beautiful warm mid-end. I love the color on it, it is actually a lighter shade in person, which i did not expect, but is still even more beautiful than i expected. The side wood and fretboard is also extremely nice, and this thing plays with ease and comfort. For a $900 guitar you definitely get what you are paying for. The internal electronics are what you expect and have functioned great the 4-5 times i have played through a sound system. The case is very sturdy, but also light enough to carry around comfortably and is very aesthetic. tuners work great, stays in tune all the time and is very easy to tune when i need to, plus the gold is a nice touch.
Playability is a 9/10
Sound is a 10/10
Case is a 8/10
aesthetic/looks is a 11/10
price is definitely worth it if you're looking to upgrade from a beginner guitar. I spent a long time going between this and the 214ce (another great guitar) but I have no regrets and I think this one is worth it. This is definitely my favorite guitar I own, it out does my Fender and Yamaha. Taylor is one of the best high end brands out there, definitely consider buying this beauty!

Sunburst print
I bought this just 2 weeks ago. Alrrady have dings on the top print burst. The top wood is soft or maybe its the burst print like paper. I dont think it can withstand small hit and bumps. The guitar sounds great though.

Beautiful guitar. Super comfy and easy to play right outta the box. Taylor nailed it with this guitar. Amazing sound from such a small body, but thats what makes it special right? Oh and plugging this 50th gs mini into the Circa 74 amp? Fa-get-a-bout-it. Tuners are a nice touch, keep the guitar perfectly tuned and look the part of a 50th anniversary guitar. Beautiful 50th Anniversary GS Mini-e
I was very fortunate and won this guitar at a Taylor presentation!! It is extremely comfortable to play. Sounds amazing amplified and acoustic. Lots of sound for such a small instrument. The Maple neck is smooth and it's shape is great (I have large hands) the rosewood is beautiful with a porous finish. The burst top is really nice to look at! Also has a very sturdy backpack strap soft shell case. Go play one you'll fall in love! Can't wait to open-mic-night this one

The Perfect Step Up
I bought a GS Mini when it first came on market years ago. Served me well traveling the world in my job, and I finally gifted it to Latino friend working in Azerbaijan. But this rosewood and spruce model with ES2 onboard is the instrument I'd like to play today. Great sound in every review I've listened to!
