Builder's Edition 912ce WHB
The Builder's Edition 912ce WHB is a Grand Concert acoustic-electric designed to Taylor's highest standards of craftmanship and playability, boasting back and sides of Indian rosewood paired with a Lutz spruce top. That tonewood combination generates a beautifully textured, articulate sound with warmth in the low end and sparkle in the treble range around slightly scooped mids. V-Class bracing serves up more power and sustain, and the compact body shape makes for a tonal clarity that's ideal for fingerstyle arrangements. Features include a beveled cutaway and armrest, chamfered body and fretboard edges, the noise-reducing Silent Satin finish and a dusky Wild Honey Burst color treatment. It ships with our ES2 pickup in a deluxe hardshell case.

Beveled Cutaway
Our beveled cutaway design provides a more player-friendly feel for guitarists who utilize every inch of the fretboard. It features a compound design with a smoothened edge along the corner of the body between the end of the cutaway and the neck heel, providing a more comfortable feel for the fretting hand.
V-Class Bracing
Our patented V-Class bracing is a revolutionary new pattern — a new sonic engine — that marks a major shift away from traditional steel-string bracing patterns.

AWESOMESAUCE!!!!!
I’ve been keeping tabs on the 900 series Builders Edition guitars for a few years and finally pulled the trigger on the BE 912CE WHB a few weeks ago (from a local guitar shop, where I was able to negotiate about $1K off the substantial sticker price!). This guitar is truly an instrument of beauty with sound that’s AMAZING. I sold my other guitars because I have significant arthritis in my hands but knew that the smaller body size and lighter strings on the 912 would allow me to play more comfortably and I was correct. After years of not playing I now play every night when I get home from work; I’m still rebuilding my callouses but what a joy to be able to play again with much less pain than previous guitars. The sound, due to the Indian Rosewood back/sides combined with Sapele top, is outstanding - both acoustically and plugged in (although I primarily play unplugged). Now I need to dig up my archive of 70s and 80s sheet music (no idea where they are but if they’re here then I’ll find ‘em!) so I can continue getting back “in shape” after a lengthy hiatus. Would I buy this guitar again? YES! Do I recommend it to you? ABSOLUTELY! And don’t forget to use your negotiating skills to talk down the price; or buy it used; or do both! :) Happy playing!
