Overview

Sunset Blvd 114ce SEB

Watch Video

The Sunset Blvd 114ce SEB channels the energy and style of the storied Los Angeles music scene into a versatile, player-friendly instrument. With its solid torrefied spruce top and layered sapele back and sides, this cutaway Grand Auditorium—created exclusively for Guitar Center’s Sunset Blvd Collection—delivers a clear, balanced sound with bold projection and a warm, played-in character. C-Class bracing dials up extra volume, lengthens sustain and improves intonation up and down the easy-playing, slim-profile Taylor neck. A vintage-vibed Sunset Edgeburst soundboard finish, Italian acrylic diamond inlays, gold tuners and a custom interior label contribute to the Sunset Blvd 114ce SEB’s stylish, LA-inspired aesthetic. An onboard ES2 pickup delivers authentic amplified acoustic tone and a soft gig bag for easy transport.

In Australia I have been playing for 58 years since aged 12. I have owned and played live many guitars, Fenders, Gibson, Yamaha, Epiphone and a 1981 Takemine 12 string. I was sad to trade in the 12 stringer I owned for 42 years, but I was not playing it anymore. It came down to the choice of a Maton or the Taylor. They are both very good guitars, but I have to say the Taylor Sunset Blvd 114CE seb is superb. A great sound unplugged and in the amp. Can't wait to play a live gig. A superior instrument with precise tuning. Steve B

Gotta Have Two!

Last weekend I bought my first Taylor, 117eSEB. Wow, i was blown away so why not, let's try the 114ce SEB because I love the cutaway design and surprise,, I bought it and now i am lucky enough to have TWO Taylors. They blow my Epiphone Studios away. They almost play themselves! Between the build quality and the sound, amazing. Plug them in and you will truly appreciate the Expression 2 system. I am now officially a Taylor guy. Sorry it took me so long.

Wonderful Instrument

Absolute gem of a guitar. Spent two hours at the store trying dozens of different types of guitars, but I walked out with this one. It has a very warm, rich tone and impeccable intonation. Stays in tune very well. For the price, it is definitely worth it for the quality, not to mention the fact that it looks beautiful.
