This finely crafted guitar wall hanger is made from genuine West African Crelicam ebony, the same ebony that we use in the fretboards and bridges of our acoustic guitars. A cushioned yoke provides a secure hanging spot for your guitar without damaging the finish or neck, while ebony's gorgeous visual character reflects the craftsmanship and natural beauty of our responsibly sourced tonewoods. Looks nice, but very quirky installation
The mount itself is quite nice and looks great on the wall. I'm giving it a 2 because the mounting instructions are terrible, as it really only accounts for one type of wall surface.
The wall mount comes with 2 large plastic wall anchors. These will only go into sheet rock (nice if you live in a US constructed house), but if you are in Europe or have hard walls, these anchors won't work at all.
Secondly, it comes with a wall template so you know where to drill your mounting holes. The problem with this though is that the 3rd middle hole is meant for the bolt/hook that actually holds your guitar. The bolt for this hook is far longer than the mount is deep, meaning you have to drill a 3 hole in your wall so that the bolt, once screwed into place...can come out the back of the mount and into your wall. If you don't do this, you can't thread the bold into the stand enough to securely hold this mounting hook.
