224ce Plus Special Edition, Trans Red
Eye-catching from every angle, the 224ce Plus Special Edition, Trans Red offers a visual aesthetic as vibrant as its acoustic voice. Available now through our online guitar store, it boasts a solid mahogany top paired with layered sapele back and sides in our player-favorite cutaway Grand Auditorium body. The mahogany top produces a warm, earthy voice with a thick midrange character and delivers natural compression that smooths out aggressive playing. Cantilevered V-Class bracing ensures greater volume and longer sustain with improved harmonic agreement between notes along the entire fretboard. A slim, satin-finish mahogany Taylor neck, with a 1 11/16” nut width, provides effortless playability. The visual highlight is attention-grabbing transparent red finish on the body and neck. Small Diamond fretboard inlays, a single-ring Italian acrylic rosette, and black binding accented by black and white purfling are perfect complements to vivid color treatment. Equipped with an onboard ES2 pickup and Taylor satin black tuners, this special-edition mode ships in a lightweight, protective AeroCase.
