Overview
Gold Label 714e
Watch VideoBetween its classic tonewood pairing, natural finish and clean, understated details, the Gold Label 714e sonically and visually reflects the character of traditional steel-string acoustics. solid Indian rosewood back and sides are paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top in a Super Auditorium body, which has a slightly longer body and wider lower bout than our signature Grand Auditorium shape. This versatile model yields a deep, open voice marked by warm, resonant lows, round trebles and rich, blooming overtones. The specially roasted soundboard adds played-in sweetness to its sound. Inside, a fanned variant of our V-Class™ bracing architecture dials up extra volume and sustain. Delivering familiar Taylor playability, a slim-profile, long-tenon Action Control Neck™ offers easy, precise adjustability through the soundhole. This model features design elements exclusive to the Gold Label Collection: a distinctive pickguard shape and a modified headstock shape with an angled-back cut and script-style logo. Other details include a full-body gloss finish, cream-colored binding with matching Crest fretboard inlays and rosette, and a Honduran rosewood Curve Wing bridge with Indian rosewood bridge pins. Equipped with an LR Baggs Element VTC electronics the Gold Label 714e comes in a Taylor deluxe hardshell case with a British Cocoa exterior.

It's also gorgeous. I appreciate the slightly understated appearance. Mine has a particularly pretty piece of spruce for the top.
