Overview
Sunset Blvd 214ce-N Plus SEB
Watch VideoDesigned exclusively for Guitar Center’s Sunset Blvd Collection, the Sunset Blvd 214ce-N Plus SEB bridges the gap between classical expression and modern steel-string feel. This cutaway Grand Auditorium offers a more playable nylon-string experience than traditional wide-necked classical guitars. A solid torrefied spruce top paired with layered Indian rosewood back and sides an articulate, snappy, neoclassical sound enriched by hints of played-in depth and sweetness. Offering exceptional comfort and playability, a slim Taylor neck with a 1-7/8” nut width makes the transition from steel to nylon strings smooth and approachable. Aesthetic details include a golden-brown Sunset Edgeburst, full-body gloss finish, Italian acrylic diamond inlays, and a custom label inside. Equipped with classical nickel tuners with pearloid buttons and an ES-N pickup system, this model features two elements common to Taylor 200 Plus Series models—a gloss-finish body and a lightweight, durable AeroCase. Fans of classical guitars and players seeking to add fresh nylon-string flavors and textures to their tonal palette should visit a Guitar Center and take the Sunset Blvd 214ce-N for a test-drive.
Features
Classical Sound, Modern Feel
The slender Taylor neck and Grand Auditorium body offer a level of playing comfort unlike any other nylon-string guitar.
Grand Auditorium
Our flagship shape offers comfort and cross-genre utility, with a clear, balanced tone suited for both fingerstyle and strumming.
Indian Rosewood
The tonewood superstar. Popular, traditional, and versatile, Bob Taylor puts Indian rosewood among the greatest tonewoods ever.
Torrefied Spruce
Treated with our special roasting process, torrefied spruce tops deliver all the clarity, balance and projection you’d expect from a traditional spruce top with an extra dash of warmth and played-in depth.
Venetian Cutaway
The Venetian cutaway is known for its soft, round lines. The sloping peak of the cutaway will vary depending on the shape of the body.
