Overview
50th Anniversary 214ce Plus LTD
An ideal choice for players of all skill levels, the 50th Anniversary 214ce Plus LTD delivers all-purpose musical utility, signature Taylor playability and a suite of upgraded, celebratory design elements. Layered Indian rosewood back and sides are paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top in a gloss-finished, cutaway Grand Auditorium body. Together, they serve up a balanced tonal profile with a touch of played-in warmth thanks to the specially roasted soundboard. Cantilevered V-Class interior bracing boosts low-end power while dialing up extra volume and longer sustain. A slender Taylor neck profile with a slightly narrower width offers a relaxed feel for your fretting hand. Visual accents emblematic of our 50th Anniversary Collection—Diamond inlays, a commemorative interior label, gold tuners and ebony bridge pins with gold dots—signify that this model is a piece of Taylor history. It comes equipped with premium ES2 electronics and ships in a durable, lightweight AeroCase.

Beautiful Look, Feel, Sound - The Clear Winner
I didn't even realize it was the 50th anniversary limited edition until after deciding it was the guitar for me. I'm so glad to be the proud owner of this piece of Taylor history, making my entrance into the Taylor family. I had my first extended jam session on it after getting the kids to bed for the night and I was just blown away by the sound. It was so full, so rich, all my songs really popped playing them on this thing. I just could not put it down.
The 50th anniversary features (gold hardware, diamond inlays, etc.) really make the guitar feel special. Of course the sound is a primary concern, but I feel that the appearance and feel are equally important, as this can determine how playing the guitar feels on an emotional level, which can really bring out more emotional playing. I can't wait to bring it to my local open mic nights to show it off to all my pals.
