This non-cutaway take on our 800 Series Grand Concert offers an alternative playing experience for those seeking the traditional full-body aesthetic. Made with all-solid Indian rosewood back and sides and a Sitka spruce top, the 812e boasts a harmonically textured, overtone-rich sound with a warm low-end response and clear, chime-like trebles. The compact body shape provides tonal definition that will please fingerstyle players, while the V-Class bracing inside dials up more volume and sustain. With a rosewood radius-style armrest for an even smoother feel, this model sports Element inlays in mother-of-pearl, along with a smoky ebony fretboard and weathered rosewood pickguard, and ships in a deluxe hardshell case.

what kind of wood is in the bracing?

I have a older 810 ce that I love. It is the most stable guitar in my collection, I can take it anywhere.. dry/humid/sea level or altitude and it’s rock solid. I am looking for a high end Taylor with similar attributes to station in central America ( humid but a lot of storage time in air conditioning) what current model ( in a ce) would you recommend ?
We recommend maintaining all models of Taylor Guitars at 40%-60% humidity, same as your older 810ce.
