214ce-K, Left-Handed
This left-handed version of our layered koa/spruce Grand Auditorium offers a perfect option for lefty players in need of a guitar that can do just about anything. With its beautiful layered Hawaiian koa back and sides, solid torrefied spruce top and versatile body shape, the 214ce-K makes a strong case as an ideal guitar for performance, practice and everything in between. Our special roasting process for the top adds a dash of mature warmth and depth, while the C-Class bracing inside enhances the overall response with more volume, longer sustain and a boost to low-end power. Offering plenty of projection for any application, this model also includes ES2 electronics for faithful, clear amplified tone and includes a sturdy structured gig bag for storage and transportation.

This guitar is compensated for steel strings. It will not play in tune up the neck with Nylon strings.

I've Only Owned 8 Taylors Because My Wife Finally Said "No!"
I've been playing guitar since 1966 and I've owned 8 Taylor guitars: 312ce (1998); 412ce (1999); T5 Standard (2004); 614ce (2002); GSmini-e (2014); T5z (2016); 324ce (2020); and I just purchased a 214ce-K (2025). I still own the 312, 614, T5z and the 214. Every guitar save one was an all-star and I used them all to gig frequently during the times I owned them. The quality of each build was superb. Once I played a Taylor neck, I couldn't stop buying or exclusively playing them. The T5z, 312ce and 614ce have alternately been "warhorses" for my gigging for the past 20 years, and I'm looking forward to using the 214ce-K in a similar manner. The only guitar I regretted buying was the 324ce which was a beautiful guitar and well-built but I could never get the tone to open up acoustically. The ES2 worked great but the acoustic sound was weak. Even with that experience, I give Taylor Guitar the highest rating ahead of the other acoustics I've owned (Martin, Zager and others) for playing comfort, sound quality, innovative design and build quality and endurance for playing loud and soft and for finger or flat picking or aggressive rhythm guitar strumming. Kudos to an incredible design and build teams and for keeping your commitment to the highest quality while making the guitars affordable to a wide array of buyers. Cheers.

bought one in September 2024 after having a gibson j45 splt behind the bridge 3 times I swore off expensive acoustics.

Year 3 ownership review
Sounds great with very natural-sounding pickups. The guitar itself is beautiful and well-built. This guitar is definitely an at-home and gigging beast and can handle classical to more percussive playing like is found in Neon by John Mayer 👍.
