Taylor’s cutaway Grand Auditorium body and a Tasmanian blackwood/Sitka spruce pairing add up to a guitar that can cover a lot of ground. The GA body produces a well-balanced sound with signature Taylor clarity, while the tonal tandem of blackwood and spruce produces a focused midrange topped with shimmering treble overtones. Appointments include a shaded edgeburst body complemented by a faux tortoise shell pickguard, along with a crisp ivoroid binding and inlay package. A Venetian cutaway opens up more of the fretboard, while Taylor’s Expression System® 2 acoustic electronics accurately capture the guitar’s range of tonal flavors.
