Overview
Sunset Blvd 214ce Solar Flare
The Sunset Blvd 214ce pairs a bold new aesthetic with the signature playability and wide-ranging musical versatility that our Grand Auditorium is famous for. A torrefied spruce top, layered walnut back and sides and C-Class bracing combine to produce a balanced, articulate voice with a sweet, seasoned character that adapts effortlessly to fingerstyle techniques, strumming and more. A burst around the soundhole evokes the look of a solar eclipse, creating a striking contrast against the black top. 50th Anniversary Diamond inlays, Gold Taylor tuners and a Sunset Blvd Collection back label add stylish finishing touches. The Sunset Blvd Collection pays tribute to Los Angeles’ vibrant music scene and Guitar Center’s flagship Hollywood store. Available only at Guitar Center, the Sunset Blvd 214ce Solar Flare comes with ES2 electronics for natural amplified acoustic tone and a structured gig bag with plush burgundy lining.
Features
Musical Versatility and a Vibrant Visual Personality
Offering signature sound and playability and featuring an eclipse-style burst, this model feels right at home in the Sunset Blvd Collection.
Grand Auditorium
Our flagship shape offers comfort and cross-genre utility, with a clear, balanced tone suited for both fingerstyle and strumming.
Walnut
Walnut’s crisp highs are balanced by a deep, woody low end that emerges as the guitar is played in.
Spruce
The soundboard choice for most guitars, Sitka spruce produces a broad dynamic range and accommodates a versatile range of playing styles.
Expression System® 2
The Expression System® 2 captures more of a guitar’s dynamic properties using a breakthrough behind-the-saddle design.
Venetian Cutaway
The Venetian cutaway is known for its soft, round lines. The sloping peak of the cutaway will vary depending on the shape of the body.
