The LED signifies when the system is active. It does not change color or indicate when the battery is low.

Exceptional
I've been a songwriter and guitarist for 20 years. The Taylor T5z has the best playability of any guitar I've come across. It is exceptionally light, incredibly ergonomic, and the action is perfect. The T5z is so light, it seems toy-like compared to my electrics -- but the construction is so solid. Also, the tones it generates are surprisingly varied, covering everything from acoustic country and blues to classic rock. This work of art covers more ground than any of my other guitars. I love it!

AN AWESOME ADVANCEMENT in PLAYABILITY!
I was BLOWN AWAY by the beauty of this instrument. PLAYABILITY, It offered exactly what I was looking for giving me the ACOUSTIC sounds with electric playing ease. Which is THE MAIN REASON I went to this guitar because of the finger pressure needed to get a nice clean sound. I had major surgery two years ago and still haven't regained the strength in my left hand to make my chords sound clean enough on regular acoustic guitars and needed something to bridge the gap and the T5z IS IT!

Wow I love this so much and what a pleasure to play…. Found my go to guitar for every day…acoustic is loud enough and the neck is butter….wish I found this sooner
