T5z Classic - Rosewood
With its alluringly dusky aesthetic and highly malleable tone, the T5z Classic - Rosewood offers a distinctive visual flavor of our hybrid hollowbody electric guitar. Outfitted with two humbuckers and an acoustic magnet pickup, the T5z Classic boasts a wide tonal range that the player can access on the fly with built-in switching that provides five different pickup combinations. The innovative electronics can serve up warm acoustic sounds just as effectively as vibrant electric tones, and plays well with pedals and other effects. A fast-playing neck with jumbo frets ensures a smooth, relaxed feel, and the 12" fretboard radius makes dramatic bends and other techniques feel easier on your fingers. This model ships with a lightweight, sturdy AeroCase.

Does this come with stereo output for separating the acoustic sounds from the electric sounds?
No it doesn't. We're seeing more players prefer a mono output to an amp modeler/effects unit in which acoustic and electric stereo patches can be selected. For some players it means not needing to lug two amplifiers to a gig.
Can I get one in a left-handed version?
Yes, all T5z models are available in left-handed at no extra charge.
Are the tone controls active?
Yes, the treble and bass controls are active, and they provide a diverse range of sounds so you can really sculpt your tones.

Love it
I love this guitar. I like the tone knobs at the top and I use the acoustic setting the most, even on rock songs. Although the strings are a heavier gage, they bend extremely easily. The only drawback for me is I get the most comfortable playing when I’m standing while playing. The guitar seems to be just a little too light to control it from slipping off my lap when sitting to play.

My physical therapist told me that I needed a thinner guitar for my injured rotator cuffed right shoulder. (I have a 522e). I asked him to write a prescription to show my wife. He laughed but wrote the script. My wife, being very skeptical 🧐, went with me to Music Villa in Bozeman, to check out a new T5z Redwood. Well, as I was playing the T5, I heard a voice of an angel saying to buy the guitar ! Now my wife was that angel!! I'm a retired chaplain that plays in nursing homes. The T5Z fits the bill and gives me variety of colors to paint the Old time songs!!
