T5z-12 Classic DLX
There's no sound quite like that of a 12-string electric guitar, and the T5z-12 Classic DLX serves up all that vibrant shimmer and octave texture in a package that's comfortable to play and adapts easily across styles and genres. Two humbuckers blend with an acoustic body sensor to serve up a rich array of tonal flavors, from bright, jangling electric chords to soft, mellower acoustic-hued sounds ideal for fingerpicking. Players will appreciate the remarkable comfort of the 12" fretboard radius and jumbo frets, as well as the rounded contours of the compact body. This model is appointed with a subtle shaded edgeburst and a full-body gloss finish, and comes with a deluxe hardshell case.

The Venetian cutaway is known for its soft, round lines. The sloping peak of the cutaway will vary depending on the shape of the body.

Do you have this guitar for left hand player?
It is available left-handed for no additional charge.
Can I use acoustic strings?
For the best amplified string balance, we recommend sticking with Electric strings. If acoustic strings are a must for you, we recommend D'Addario XS 10-47 acoustic 12-string set.
Does this come with stereo output for separating the acoustic sounds from the electric sounds?
No it doesn't. We're seeing more players prefer a mono output to an amp modeler/effects unit in which acoustic and electric stereo patches can be selected. For some players it means not needing to lug two amplifiers to a gig.
Can I get one in a left-handed version?
Yes, all T5z models are available in left-handed at no extra charge.

I would rate this guitar 10 stars if I could !
I continue to be down right awed by the sounds I’m able to achieve with this wonderful piece of ART !!! I’ve been a professional musician for well over 40 years, still very active in this smaller town I’ve retired in, and all my band mates want this guitar. My main axe has been a Fender Strat for many, many years, though I also have Les Pauls, Tele’s, several acoustics, including one other electric 12 string (2 other electric/acoustic 12 strings) several dreadnoughts etc.,etc., and this guitar BY FAR out performs ANY guitar I’ve ever played!!! It’s sounds are so much better, VERY VERSATILE blends whether played softly or rocking the house down. Extremely clear on ANY combination of its pick-ups or tone blends !! It plays better than my Les Paul Custom OR Strat (I set up my own guitars and have Never had to change ANYTHING on the way it was set up from the Taylor Factory !! I’ve had it now for about two years and the only maintenance I’ve done is keep the humidifier topped off, and change the strings. The intonation, action, and fretboard have ALL stayed as perfect as the day I got it !!). At first I felt like the strings were unusually close when playing down closer to the nut, but now I feel I’m able to better reach some usually difficult chords that had been a challenge on anything but my Strat. In closing it’s clear to see that I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with this instrument !!! It is and will continue to be my FAVORITE guitar of the 16+ guitars I now own. FANTASTIC JOB Taylor !!! WELL DONE !!!

Taylor T5z 12 string sounds amazing and is a dream to play!
I already own a Taylor T5z 6 string, and it's been the crown jewel of my collection (of 19). I've been wanting to try the 12 string version for a long time and finally pulled the trigger. It did not disappoint! And it's so lightweight I could play it all day! Love it! Thanks!!!
