Designed exclusively for Sweetwater, the 814ce Special Edition, Sedona boasts a solid Western Red cedar soundboard—with a shaded edgeburst—paired with solid Indian rosewood back and sides in a gloss-finish Grand Auditorium body with a Venetian cutaway. The result is a richly textured sound with warm lows, clear trebles and remarkable touch sensitivity. V-Class interior bracing enhances volume, sustain and intonation along the entire smoky ebony fretboard. A slender Taylor neck delivers familiar playability, while a radiused Indian rosewood armrest takes the edge off your strumming arm. Mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlays showcase the design of our 800 Series between 2004 and 2013. Additional special-edition appointments include a single-ring green abalone rosette with Indian rosewood/maple/black purfling, Hard Rock maple body and soundhole binding, ebony fretboard and peghead binding, a Hard rock maple back strip, an Indian rosewood pickguard, and ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots.
